About Me

I am a blogger, illustrator, crafts artist, belly dancer, competitive air guitarist (there is such a thing), and massage therapist. I am currently undergoing treatment for colorectal cancer. I blog about the ups and downs of dealing with illness, tapping into creativity, coping with family baggage, dealing with adversity, and whatever else crosses my mind. I live in Portland, Oregon, with my husband and three dogs. One of them, Fiona, became the star of a children's book I wrote and illustrated called Fiona Plays With Her Beaver. It is an innocent book about a pug who will stop at nothing to recover her lost stuffed beaver. Get your mind out of the gutter, fool!
